Port Aransas Tourism Bureau & Chamber of Commerce

1 of 4
Description: The Visit Port Aransas website refresh created a sleek, mobile-first and user-friendly experience in addition to more succinctly prioritizing our regenerative tourism initiatives on the page. The redesign has a clean, coastal feel that looks great on mobile and features Port A’s “Respect Our Island Home” sustainability mascot, Flynn the sea turtle, prominently above the fold on the home page and throughout other locations on the website. We have also worked with Satisfi Labs to integrate an AI chatbot to assist users in finding the personalized information they want. Organic search sessions between October 1 and July 1 increased by 32.3% over the preceding year, and engaged sessions per user have increased by 10.3%.

Objectives: Our objectives were to a.) increase organic website traffic and engagement b.) prioritize placement of sustainability initiatives that support regenerative tourism, and c.) reflect the evolution of the Port Aransas brand as the premier family beach destination in Texas.

Project costs: $98,000

Description: In May 2024, Visit El Paso officially launched an updated version of its website, VisitElPaso.com. The new website, having undergone a comprehensive redesign to better suit virtual visitors, has enhanced the city’s profile for residents and travelers across the world to view. After a seven-year period since its last redesign, VisitElPaso.com was transformed into a user-friendly touchpoint to experience the Sun City. The new website offers an improved user experience by implementing an improved landing page with side bars to easily navigate pages, an upgraded search bar, and enhanced visuals and interactive features showcasing the culture and attractions of El Paso. The updated website aims to better inspire and inform potential visitors more effectively.

Objectives: Redesigning the Visit El Paso website had several key objectives in mind – update its existing search-engine-optimized content, create a unique, user-friendly and responsive design that looks great on any device, upgrade visual elements to improve user experience, enhance content strategy to allow visitors to find information faster, improve the overall design to better match Visit El Paso’s branding and identity, improve programming by revising the site to become mobile-friendly and perform properly on smartphones, remove content that is out-of-date, and overall update the design of the website to stay on top of industry trends and simplify the content management system to make it easier to update website content. Within its official launch on May 23, the website has recorded over 107,000 unique visitors, over 189,00 views, and recorded users spending nearly two minutes on the site.
